Here is a quick guide for you to be able to post across multiple Teams, this will save you having to copy and paste each message.
Do you need to email your class or group?
I have been asked several times is there an email list for a class or group? There is not a list directly out of the box or through the user-management system but there is a way of creating it through ‘Teams’ you are owner of.
You need to firstly create your team the go into the SharePoint area ( the file storage area) and then create a conversation with the group.

TEAMS – File options
When you add files and folders to the ‘Team’ there is an option to stop pupils editing your work. Have a look at the help file on the link -this will show you several options

Training coming soon for all staff to support them with ‘distance learning’
Screencastify
Screencastify is a new addition to HWB it allows you to record your screen and annotations and then share these with others.
O365
As you all may have seen in the news that every single teacher and pupil in Wales can now download O365 for free to their computer (5 licences per user). Then benefit of this is that now everyone has the opportunity to have a fully functioning office suite rather than just the online version. This also allows you to have the apps on tablets.
When you open O365 on through your Hwb account
- Select your icon at the top right
- choose my account
- install

Welcome to the new DCF Blog
The idea behind this blog is for you to see what the latest digital news is in and around the school. In the past I have sent emails to all staff with generic information or specific information to subjects with information that will support and develop their knowledge. This blog will hopefully streamline that information and provider a broader level of support to all teachers.
Some of the information on this page will be a duplicate of what has already been sent out but some of it will be new.
To help (as this is a blog) I will tag information to show what software and websites I have used and also where it fits into the DCF and possibly so potential and actual examples of where it could be applied across the curriculum.
